23 Oct News of the Week 10/21/24

Prince of Peace Families,

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

This week the teachers and I prayed for these wonderful people.  Mrs. Ruiz (Ms. Veronica), Chloe (4), Ms. Kayleen, Alina (7), Luke (2).  God Bless each of these amazing people.

We have some big things happening this week.  Red Ribbon Week is this week.  Please look at your teachers email to see what the dress days are.  
This Wednesday we will be having our last Volleyball game and it is home at 3:30 came and cheer on your Saints!
This Wednesday is also the last day of the 1st quarter of our school year.  Get any work you need to turn in to your teacher by this Wednesday.
This Wednesday in chapel we will be starting this years Operation Christmas Child Box Drive.  Our goal for this year is 130 boxes.  If every family fills 1 or 2 boxes we should make our goal.  November 20th is the day all of our boxes will be collected.

Trunk or Treat is this Thursday from 6:00-8:00.  We are still in need of candy to give out, if you can please bring a bag or two to the office and you will receive some service hours.

We have no school this Friday, October 25.  It is a scheduled teacher-in-service Day.  Preschool is still in session but K-8th does not have school this coming Friday.

Remember to have your kids stay with our school dress code.  Jeans are only on Fridays.  Tan or blue pants or shorts or skirts are the expectable wear with a Prince of Peace polo (girls have skirts and etc that are also acceptable)  Fridays spirit shirts can be worn and jeans are acceptable.
