3/21/18 Message From the Principal

Published March 22, 2018 by

Dear Parents,

This week we prayed for Ciara Loken – 7, Taylor
Rossi – 4, and Jacob Haske – 2. May God continue
to bless and keep them and their families in his
care. We have prayed for each students and our
staff now. If you have concerns or praise reports
you would like the faculty to pray for in the
morning, please let us know.

As Easter gets closer, some of us are getting
anxious for that time off from school. (Probably
the teachers more than the students.) Don’t let
the joy of Easter get lost in the craziness of
vacation or the coming of spring. The resurrection
of Jesus Christ is the reason that we can live with
the confidence of the resurrection for us. We are
Easter people. Everyday we need to celebrate the
joy of what Jesus did for us and that we know we
will spend eternity with Him. Prince of Peace is
having a wonderful celebration on Easter for
families. There is Easter breakfast, an Easter egg
hunt, puppet show and activities for the kids and
joyous worship. Come and remember the real
reason we celebrate Easter!

You have seen the fence. Thank you to the PTAL
for the fund raisers and donations from families
and grandparents. We will be adding a electronic
system for entrance so Debbie doesn’t have to do
so much running. Thank you for your patience.
We have more to do. We want to install more
cameras and have radios for better
communication between staff.

Twelve of the 7th and 8th graders participated in
the Science Olympics at Orange Lutheran High
School on Wednesday. The theme this year was
energy. The students spent the day there doing
science activities about energy. We didn’t win
anything, but the students felt like they learned a
lot. They felt like it was a worthwhile experience.
We are looking forward to next year.

Please complete your re-enrollment for next year
as soon as possible!

Blessings,
Mrs. Smallwood
