A Note from Our Principal: December 2017

Published December 9, 2017 by

Dear Parents,

I know that the Christmas season is very busy. Please
remember to take time to be still and spend time with
God to enjoy His peace. A few minutes of peace will
help you deal with the rest of the craziness. After all, His
is the Prince of Peace.

Last night the preschool service was wonderful. Their
message about Jesus the Savior was clear. Next
Thursday, we will enjoy our Kindergarten, first, and
second graders tell us the story of Christmas. The
program is in the gym. Bring your friends and
neighbors…and cookies. We want to enjoy each others
company after the program. Let Debbie in the office
know if you are able to bring treats.

In January, we will be hosting 13 Korean students who
are coming to America to experience our culture and
how learning takes place. We will also get to share
Jesus’s love with them. It is always fun for our students
to find out from them what it is like to live in Korea.
They may end up with a friend on the other side of the
world. The students will be in third, fourth, and fifth
grades. Classes will be taught as normal. We are looking
for 2 homes to house 2 or 3 boys. Check the newsletter
for more information.

Help your students keep up with their work and focus
until the last day.

Christmas blessings to all!
Mrs. Smallwood
